It’s hard to believe we are already halfway through our 2026 Summer Reading Program! We currently have 2268 children aged birth-8th grade signed up, and 388 kiddos have already completed the program. WOW!
Our staff gets so excited every time we get to hand out a prize. We love seeing your smiles and hearing all about the great books you’ve been reading this summer!
Our Summer Reading program is open to everyone, even cardholders from other libraries or those who do not have a card at all. All Youth finishers ages 3 and up receive a paperback book, final coupons, and a t-shirt. Babies and children under 3 receive a board book and final coupons. Grand Prize drawings are reserved for AAPLD cardholders.
The Summer Reading Program runs until July 31st, so there is still plenty of time to sign up! Come in person to pick up a paper log or track your reading using the Beanstack App.
D300 parents, don’t forget to fill out the Google form linked on your finishing certificate! Those forms need to be filled out by Monday, August 24, for your child to receive their t-shirt from D300 and for their completion to be counted toward their school’s total.
