Attention all princesses and pirates, bats and ghouls! Grab your paintbrushes and get in on the spooky competition! The library is hosting The Great Pumpkin Painting Contest running through October 31. Come to the library this weekend to pick up a free pumpkin to decorate and return by Monday, October 26. Limit of one pumpkin per child while supplies last. If you are unable to finish a pumpkin this weekend, make sure you stop by next week to place your vote! The winner will be announced on Halloween.
Also, don’t miss our special Halloween Music & Movement at 10 a.m. Monday, October 26, in our large meeting room at Harnish Main Library. The half hour of slightly spooky stories, singing and dancing will be followed by a costume parade around the library. There is no registration required to attend, but arrive within the half hour before the program begins to get tickets near the Youth Services Desk.
And be sure to say hello to our library workers as they continue to attend Halloween events around our communities through the week!
