This Week at AAPLD: 6/5-6/11

Have you signed up for Summer Reading yet?! Over 500 children from birth to 8th grade have already registered for and are working on completing their reading logs! This year’s theme is Read Beyond the Beaten Path. Children in Pre-K to 8th grade can read to earn small prizes, and when they complete the program they will receive a free t-shirt and a paperback book of their choice. Babies and toddlers will earn small prizes, and will receive a board book upon completing the program. T-shirts are not available for children under 3 years old.

Our weekly take and make craft will start up again this week as well, so stop by, sign up for Summer Reading, and grab a craft! Storytimes and other summer programs resume this week as well–and yes, books read during storytime count toward your Summer Reading goals!

Registration is now open for June and July programs!
