This week we are rolling out a brand-new collection: Playaway Launchpads. You may be familiar with Playaway’s audio book devices but this is something entirely different.
The Launchpads are tablets with pre-loaded educational games and activities. They come in three different age groups: 3-5 years old, 5-7 years old, and 8-10 years old.
These will be located in the Youth Services Department right by the staircase and new story time room. They are orange, just like the audio books, and can be checked out for 3 weeks. Since they are real tablets, we do not especially want to send them on the van to other libraries so you have to check them out here!
