In November 4th-8th graders joined Ms. Alison for a Sphero Light Painting program. The kids learned about how to take pictures of Sphero robots in the dark. Light painting is a photography trick that requires a slow shutter speed lasting at least a second to allow time to capture a light trail made from a moving light source. Sphero is a robotic ball that rolls around and has an LED light in it that changes colors. The kids worked in pairs with one driving Sphero and the other taking pictures. The kids worked hard and showed amazing creativity. Check out some of their amazing work below.
