The Algonquin Area Public Library was honored to have a special visitor stop by for a visit last week. Illinois State Senator, Karen McConnaughay, kindly spent her time meeting patrons, staff, and engaging our youngest patrons in a fun story, Grace for President, by Kelly DiPucchio. The children in attendance loved being able to participate in a mock election, just like the children in the story.
