Fall Break is Hopping

Head to the library during Fall Break for games, crafts, movies and frogs! Join us for some of our drop-in programs while out of school Nov. 24-28. These programs are open to everyone, are always free, and no registration is required. Note the location of each event, as programming is planned at both of our wonderful libraries.

Lego Club meets from 6-7 PM Monday, Nov. 24, in the large meeting room at Harnish Main Library. Come and use our LEGOs to build from provided prompts, or free build!

Get your family and friends together for some friendly competition! All Day Game Day will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, at Eastgate Branch Library. A variety of board games and card games will be available to drop in and play at your own pace through the duration of the program. Registration is not required, but if you would like a reminder email, you can submit your information at the link above.

Perler Bead crafts will be offered from 4-5:30 PM Tuesday, Nov. 25, and from 1-3 PM Wednesday, Nov. 26, in the Creation Center at Harnish Main Library. We will supply the trays, beads and inspirations, but feel free to bring your own designs, as well.

Zootopia will be our No School Movie shown from 2-4 PM Wednesday, Nov. 26, at Eastgate Branch Library. Patrons are welcome to drop in for a refresher on the Zootopia universe by watching the first movie before heading to Zootopia 2, which opens in theaters the same day. If you would like a reminder email, you may register at the above link.

The Frog Lady will join us from 2-3:30 PM Friday, Nov. 28, in the large meeting room at Harnish Main Library to share the world of frogs, tortoises and other reptiles with us. This program does have ticketed reservations to ensure space for everyone, so go to the Youth Services Desk before the start of program to receive your ticket and ensure your spot.

We hope to see you at Algonquin Library, and make sure to check out our holiday books and displays while you are here!
