The American Library Association has partnered with Netflix to create a new reading incentive called Bookmarks: Celebrating Black Voices. Bookmarks: Celebrating Black Voices is a live-action collection of twelve five minute episodes featuring prominent Black celebrities and artists reading children’s books from Black authors that highlight the Black experience.
Bookmarks’ book recommendations, educator guides, videos and information were developed in partnership with the Black Caucus of the American Library Association, an ALA Affiliate, and the Association for Library Service to Children, a division of the ALA.
