Philosophy/General Purpose: We believe that each child is a special gift from God. Each child is a unique individual and is encouraged to develop spiritually, intellectually, physically, emotionally, and socially at his/her own rate. Each child is created by God with his/her own special capabilities. We try to recognize these differences and give attention to individual needs.
In a Christian atmosphere, your child will experience God’s love, know Jesus as his/her Savior, and share this love and forgiveness with others.
Through a stimulating environment, hands-on experiences, and varied learning resources, your child will gain self-confidence, independent problem-solving skills, social skills, and a love of learning. These concrete learning experiences will broaden the foundation for future learning.
The education of a child is a partnership between home and school. Parents are recognized as the child’s primary teacher and supported in that role. We strive to provide an environment in which the parent/guardian and the school can cooperatively enhance the child’s life as a special child of God.

Curriculum: The Little Lambs Preschool curriculum goal covers five areas of development. We seek to provide opportunities for growth in the spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional, and social areas of development. Activities are provided to give children opportunities for experimentation, discovery, and hands-on learning, as we know that young children learn best when they are free to interact with their environment.

The goal of our ABA therapy program is to prepare children for the transition into a traditional  school setting by reducing specific challenging behaviors that interfere with learning or developing interpersonal relationships.

Curriculum: We specialize in providing the highest quality ABA therapy in a preschool-like setting for children with autism ages 2-6. Our child to therapist ratio is 1:1 and throughout the day our therapists work on increasing critical skills but in an environment which resembles a school. For example, throughout the day, there are daily activities which include circle time, story time, table time, arts and crafts, sensory play, free play, group play, outdoor play, snack, lunch, nap time (if needed), as well as fine and gross motor activities.

Facilities (classrooms, gymnasiums, etc.): Our Lake in the Hills center is spacious and beautiful. We have 6 classrooms and an activities room. Based on the autism assessment, a customized treatment plan is developed for each child, focusing on goals like speech therapy outcomes, toileting, and developing communication and social skills. Assessments then occur approximately every six months, allowing our clinicians to observe changes, review progress with parents, and target areas that may still need improvement.
