What is Read to a Librarian?
Read to a Librarian is our exclusive 2020 Pandemic replacement program for Summer Book Buddies. This program will take place virtually through Zoom Meetings. You will get an email with the Zoom meeting room link before the program starts.
Younger students will read with to a staff member for 20 minutes once a week for 6 weeks. The program provides an encouraging environment and fosters a love of reading.
- No Algonquin Library Card necessary
- Registration is limited to those who can attend at least 4 sessions
- This program is limited to how many staff members are able to work from home, so please bear with us!
Dates
Mondays from 11am-11:20am OR 11:40am-12pm
June 8, 15, 22, & 29 and July 13 & 20
Tuesdays from 2pm-2:20pm OR 2:40pm-3pm
June 9, 16, 23, & 30 and July 14 & 21
