Kanopy is a “thoughtful entertainment” streaming service for both adults and children. Kanopy is completely free with your library card — you just have to create an account using your email address upon first logging in. Kanopy supports a variety of documentary, indie, and foreign films but has popular titles as well. Kanopy Kids just added the complete Sesame Street Season 39! Other kid’s titles include Daniel Tiger, Arthur, and many read-alouds of classic children’s books. Parents are able to set-up parental controls for the Kids accounts.
One more thing about Kanopy — they host instructional videos and courses too! These videos can help teach adults new skills or can be used as teaching materials for students.
