Yoga at Your Library!

Have you heard of yoga and want to know what it’s all about? Join us for a variety of yoga programs offered by our very own Miss Alexa, certified yoga instructor.

Yoga can have many benefits to children. Parents Magazine says that “there are five key areas where kids benefit from the practice of yoga, and each of them improves their overall well-being.” It enhances flexibility, refines balance and coordination, develops focus, boosts confidence, and strengthens the mind-body connection.

For 3 to 6 years old: Yoga Storytime September 14, 28 at 1pm (registration required, AAPLD cardholders only)

For K through 5 grade: Kids Yoga September 24 at 4:30pm (registration required, AAPLD cardholders only)

For Teens, Tweens, and Adults: Coming soon!
