Summer Reading Has Come to an End!

Have you turned in your road map for prizes yet? Don’t worry! You still have some time to turn in your log. We will reward any reader who still needs to turn in their summer reading until Monday 8/6.

Overall, we had a fantastic blast off with 1,334 sign ups and an out-of-this world 845 finishers! That’s a lot of reading!

Thanks for coming to our Summer Reading Send Off on July 31, it was a blast!

But the fun doesn’t stop there! In August, we have a Book Swap on Monday 8/6 at 10am. Bring your old books to swap for new ones!

On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 8/6, 7, and 8 at 11am we have a Coding for Kids program designed to build off what they learn each day. Please plan on attending all three days of fun!

If you have an aspiring writer, sign them up for Rising Writers on Wednesday 8/8 and/or 8/22 at 4pm. Kids learn how to craft fantastical tales and work together.

Join us on 8/9 at 6:30pm for Family Bingo! There are lots of chances to win small prizes for all ages!

On Friday 8/10 head over to our Eastgate Branch at 2pm for the MarioKart 8 Tournament! Com

pete against other players for a chance to win a $10 GameStop giftcard and other small prizes!

If you have a little one gearing up for Kindergarten, look into our Kindergarten, Here I Come! program at 3pm on 8/10. For ages 4-6 with a caregiver, join us for a special back to school storytime!

Are you a first-time mom of a child under two? Join us on 8/13 for Babies and Beans at 10am. Enjoy a hot beverage and snack while chatting to other moms. Ask questions, swap tips, and share stories!

Our Middle School Volunteer program takes place of 8/22 at 6pm or 8/25 at 2pm where kids can earn their volunteer hours with snacks!

We have a brand new program called Photo Fabulous on 8/29 at 6pm for kids in 6-8 grade who want to learn how to take gorgeous photos with their phones or cameras.
