Preparing for Preschool with Picture Books

It is no secret that we LOVE books here at the Algonquin Area Public Library!  We love how stories can help us understand and prepare for unknown experiences like the first day of school!  If your little one is curious or even nervous about what preschool may look like, sit down together to read stories that explore this topic.  Young children can benefit greatly from relating to the characters and activities in these stories.  We've compiled a list of preschool related titles to share with you, but you can also visit our Back-to-School display for even more books to read with your preschooler.
